We are in the process of releasing some major updates for Abandoned Cart Pro for WooCommerce. As a part of the process, we have just released version 7.8 of Abandoned Cart Pro for WooCommerce.
This update of the plugin includes some feature additions along with some settings to make the plugin comply with EU GDPR.
A brief summary of the changes done in this version is as below:
- Added the ability to insert email templates from a pre-defined set of templates.
Detailed documentation available here.
- Ability to import HTML email templates and then modify them to insert merge tags is now available.
- Added the ability to display notices on the front end to make end users aware of the data (email address and cart) being captured while adding products to cart.
- Made the plugin compatible with the new features introduced by WordPress 4.9.6 version which has the options to export and erase personal data. Using this options the plugin will now export and erase abandoned cart data of the customer.
The full changelog is available here.
I would like to express my gratitude to the entire team for making this release possible with the above mentioned features.
We shall also be releasing a few more features in the coming weeks. These releases will introduce some new ways to recover lost revenue apart from the cart recovery emails that we currently have. Moreover, special attention is given towards improving the performance of the plugin. The next release will have some major improvements in the performance as well.
As usual, your feedback is of immense value to us. Please let us know how you like the changes and what more do you wish to see in the upcoming releases of the plugin by writing to us at [email protected].
