Our Order Delivery Date Pro for WooCommerce v9.22.0 was just released on 4th February 2021. This is one of the biggest updates that we’ve done for Order Delivery Date Pro. We’ve been working on this for the last 2 months & we’re very excited to see this being released. Here are some of the changes that it comes with-
1) Display the delivery calendar inline on the cart and checkout page
Instead of having to click on the text input field to make the calendar visible on the Cart and Checkout Page, you can simply keep it visible at all times by configuring the ‘Calendar Display Mode’ setting. You can go to Order Delivery Date > Settings > General Settings > Appearance and then find the option titled ‘Calendar Display Mode’. Here, you’ll find a dropdown with the options ‘Show Calendar always open’ and ‘Open Calendar on click on input field’.Â
‘Calendar Display Mode’ setting
If the setting ‘Delivery Date field on Cart page’ is enabled, then the value of the above setting will apply on the cart page as well. Here’s how it will appear-Â

2) Display time slots in a list view
Earlier the time slots were displayed as a dropdown list, but with v9.22.0 you can now display the time slots in a list view. To do this, you need to go to Order Delivery Date > Settings > General settings > Time Slot. Here you’ll find an option called ‘Show time slots in list view’.
‘Show time slots in list view’ setting
Once enabled, your customers will be able to choose their time slots by just selecting any of the time slot buttons displayed either on the Cart Page and/or the Checkout Page. The customers will be easily able to see the start time as well as the end time on these buttons. Here’s how it will look-Â

3) Display the delivery dates in a dropdown on the cart and checkout page
Instead of showing a delivery calendar, you can now choose to display your delivery dates in a dropdown list. To do this, you can simply go to Order Delivery Date > Settings > General Settings > Appearance. Here’s you’ll find an option called ‘Show Delivery Dates in dropdown’. You can either choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. By default, the setting is selected as ‘No’.

4) Set the note for the text block settings to be displayed on the front end
If you select ‘Text Block’ under the Delivery Checkout option in Order Delivery Date > Settings > General > Date settings, then on the checkout page you will find a text displayed with the estimated delivery date.‘Delivery Checkout options’ setting
After enabling this setting, you can configure or change the text block note by going to Order Delivery Date > Settings > General Settings > Appearance > Estimated Delivery Date Text.

5) Auto-populate the first pickup location in the dropdown
If your store has a local pickup shipping method selected, then you can choose to auto-populate the Pickup Location setting with the first pickup location in the dropdown. To do this, go to Order Delivery Date > Settings > Pickup Locations. Here you can save the different pickup locations of your business in the following table format-
Different Pickup Locations Table
It’s important to set the address of your preferred pickup location in the first row since that address would be auto-populated on the cart and checkout pages of your customers. Once you’re done with this, you can save these settings and find an option called ‘Auto-populate the first pickup location’. Â

6) FullCalendar library updated to version 5.5.0
FullCalendar library under the Order Delivery Date > Delivery Calendar has now been updated to version 5.5.0. Earlier, the week view orders had stopped showing up. But with this update, you will find the orders or the time slots displayed under the day and week view in the admin delivery calendar.Â
