As a remote-first work culture brand, we at Tyche Softwares have company retreats yearly to meet happy faces in person beyond the Slack calls.
On Jan 16th 2025, we all at Tyche Softwares visited Mysore, a city known for its rich history and vibrant culture. The trip was filled with exciting adventures, shared laughter, and plenty of unforgettable moments that brought us closer as a team. Here are some beautiful memories that are worth sharing.
Mysore Days
Our trip started with a visit to the Payana Museum, a treasure trove curated by Shree D. Veerendra Heggade, showcasing exquisite classic and antique automobiles. The displays were well-organized, and we learned a lot about how people lived in the past.
Next, we went to the Mysore Palace, which was huge and beautiful. The palace had detailed carvings and colorful decorations that looked amazing. Walking through its halls felt like traveling back in time to see how kings and queens lived in those days.
After that, we visited Chamundi Hills, which was peaceful and quiet. The view from the top of the hill was incredible—we could see the whole city from there. It felt really calm and refreshing to be surrounded by nature.
Later, we explored fun places like the Sand Museum, where we saw creative and interesting displays. We also had a lot of fun go-karting! It was an exciting experience as we raced around the track, trying to be the fastest. We had a great time playing games and competing with each other. We visited a few more exciting places, making the day full of fun, learning, and unforgettable moments.
After exploring Mysore, we went back to the villa where we were staying. The villa wasn’t just a place to sleep—it became the spot for all our fun activities! We played games like UNO and Table Tennis, which made us laugh a lot. It’s about spending time together, having fun, and supporting each other. Everyone got a little competitive, and the jokes and teasing made everything even more fun!
One of the funniest parts of our trip was when we started drawing funny drawings of each other. Some of the drawings turned out so silly that we couldn’t stop laughing. Everyone looked so funny, and we all joked about them. The villa was full of laughter, and it felt great to have so much fun together. Every moment we spent drawing and laughing felt special and unforgettable.
A Trip Close To Our Heart
This Mysore trip was not just about visiting places but also about enjoying time with loved ones. Whether it was exploring the city or cracking jokes at the villa, every moment was filled with joy. Mysore gave us more than just sights to see—it gave us memories to cherish forever.
Meeting the team after a whole year was truly amazing. It felt so great to see everyone again and catch up on all the things we had missed. We shared stories about what had happened in the past year and laughed about all the little things we’d been through.
