In the recent past, we have had some customers come to us with queries on how can they export the abandoned cart data to a 3rd party or system. While the plugin does provide multiple methods to send reminders to customers (including emails, SMS & FB notifications), the feature to export abandoned cart data to an outsider does hold some merit.
Hence we introduced the feature of creating webhooks since version 8.7.0. Using these you can send the abandoned cart data to a Delivery URL, from where the same can be captured and used further.
The list of webhooks available in the plugin:
- Email address captured via Add to Cart popup
- Email address captured at Checkout
- Email address captured via Form integrations
- Cart abandoned after cut-off
- Cart Abandonment Reminder Email Sent
- Cart Abandonment Reminder SMS Sent
- Cart Abandonment Reminder FB message Sent
- Recovery link clicked in reminders sent
- Abandoned Order Recovered

Abandon Cart plugin webhooks can be found in WooCommerce->Settings->Advanced->Webhooks
How to set it up?
- Click on Add Webhook button
2. Enter the details.
3. Click on Save Webhook button.
4. The webhook should be set to active to ensure data is sent.
Data sent:
- Email address captured via Add to Cart popup – Fired when a cart is recorded and tracking starts for the same when a user enters their email address in the Add to Cart popup modal for guest users. This webhook is fired as soon as the email address is captured, so the cutoff time has not yet been reached.

2. Email address captured at Checkout – When Add to Cart popup modal is turned off, guest carts are captured once the user enters their email address in the field at the Checkout page. This webhook is fired as soon as the email address is captured and the cart record is created, so the cutoff time has not yet been reached.

3. Email address captured via Form integrations – The plugin allows the site admin to capture customer email addresses through custom forms. This webhook is fired when the email address is captured and the user creates a cart, so the cutoff time has not yet been reached.
