It’s WordCamp time! Yay! 🙂
WordCamp Mumbai is happening on 17th & 18th March 2018. Like every WordCamp, our team would be there in full strength.
What is different this time is that we aren’t having a booth. We are a Friends sponsor for WordCamp Mumbai 2018. But you can still catch us around & get hold of us by looking at our Tshirts or anyone from our team.
As for the WordCamp itself, it will be fun to explore the new venue, IIT-Bombay. It has been a challenging time for the organisers since the venue has changed, but they’ve been at it since the last few months. So don’t forget to thank the organisers & volunteers for the wonderful time you’re going to have there.
Although the schedule isn’t out at this point, but the speakers do have some familiar faces like Nirav Mehta, Hardeep Asrani & many new ones too. That makes it a good mix.
Former Tyche team member & now an Automattician, Khyati Gala is going to conduct a workshop on WooCommerce. She will take you through the initial steps of setting up your ecommerce store with WooCommerce. Although WooCommerce is easy to learn, but someone hand-holding & teaching it can never be a dull moment. So be sure to attend her workshop!
4 Most Important things to do in the WordCamp:
- Don’t shy away in the WordCamp. Talk to people.
- Say hello to atleast 5 people you do not know & check how they are using WordPress.
- Listen to the speakers, they would have a lot of actionable tips for you, no matter if you are a newbie or you are an experienced wrangler.
- Thank the organisers & volunteers. 🙂
